Sunday evening, August 28, you can participate with 10,000 of your closest friends in some great training for small group and Sunday School leaders in a location near you! It’s called One Day Live, and it is available to you at no cost!
Here’s the deal! Instead of driving hundreds of miles, spending lots of dollars on meals and hotels, and investing countless hours; your church can have some first-rate training for its small group and Sunday School leaders right there in your own facility – or partner with other churches or your association and learn with them.
So what is One Day Live?
One Day Live is a customizable approach to training small group and Sunday School leaders. Here are the key features:
Rather than have to travel to attend Sunday School training, your church can host its own Sunday School training if it wants to. That’s any church, regardless of size! Mega-church in the suburbs? Yep! Rural church at the intersection of two dusty roads? Yep! An association of churches in a county seat? Yes, your association can equip its own leaders right where you are!
One Day Live includes a CD-ROM that has 84 different training seminars for Sunday School and small groups. You simply select the seminars that most effectively meets with your church’s goals and needs. In other words, customize the training for your church’s context!
Develop Your Own Leaders
Who leads One Day conferences? Your leaders do! If you can teach Bible study from curriculum, then you can lead a One Day conference. I am thoroughly convinced that many of our churches have excellent Bible study leaders. The next step of growth for these leaders is to move from being a leader of pupils to becoming leaders of leaders! By doing so, you are growing and enabling your own leaders to grow into dynamic mentors of other leaders.
A Shared Simulcast
Although we may be meeting in a multitude of locations, we will share a common vision via the internet. Dr. Johnny Hunt, the pastor at FBC-Woodstock, Georgia is our guest speaker for One Day Live and we are livestreaming him to Oklahoma on Sunday evening, August 28. Johnny will be live at 5:25 pm. We are also recording a “dress rehearsal” of Johnny’s sermon in advance, and will ship it to participating churches, just in case the internet goes out!
